or re-done, if you want to be precise. This is the leaf shawl from the Nancie Wiseman book - the one she did in Lavender linnen. I had knit up all but the last little bit of the yarn and when I put it on the blocking pins, it was just way too small. So I did a little test with bigger needles and decided to give it a try. I've knit about half the ball so far and it's lovely, but could have been done on a still bigger needle. Anyway, it is the neverending shawl - just keeps going and going and going. . . . . .The first picture is the shawl laid on the floor - it's too wide to spread
out on the needle. The second is the shawl slightly stretched so you can see the pattern. It's that kid mohair I got at SAFF and it's very soft and nice.

What a sawl. I could never try to finish that. Itwould come apart...
What an intresting piece... I love the pattern, though i would never be able to knit it... i don't even know how to knit..
I am pretty sure that pattern is still on our list and I do want to make it (along with everything else I see)
What size needles and yarn to make a goodly size shawl (for reference you know for those of us that eventually get to make it)
I am using the Brooks Farm Primero which is a really soft and lovely kid mohair. Each hank comes with 500 yards. That is not enough to make a full sized shawl using the pattern and this yarn on size 4 needles. I will let you know if it's enough to make a full sized shawl on size 7 (or am I using 8?).
