It's all Diane's fault . . . .

If she hadn't posted about her little worm I could have resisted this book when I saw it in the used book store.  Now the next big issue is that I don't have any bobbins.  Ok, one book does not a habit make . . . I can still resist the temptation.

Those kinds of books I cannot resist! SOMEWHERE I have a bobbin lace book. And that post made me wonder.... You could always make bobbins to try it out! They seem pretty easy.

BTW, what book is this? No author shown on the outside. And yes, you can make bobbins out of dowel rods and pony beads. And according to a photo I sent some friends recently, clothespins or heavy cardboard. Like shuttles, they just hold the thread. If you go to Mark Myers' website, he shows you how to make your own bobbins and pillow. (wink)
