First off, I am amazed that this blog went a full month with no posts. I'm sorry for neglecting it but sometimes I get busy and forget. I am not ready to give it up yet, just distractible.
I saw on Ravelry that Stitches West had a Stitch Marker Swap and has apparently had it for some years. The attendees make and bring stitch markers and trade them with vendors and each other. Some of the ones I saw posted were really cute. I figured South didn't have a swap because it is so small. But then Lindsey Martin of Erin Lane Bags decided to change all that and organized a swap for Stitches South this year. I don't use many stitch markers, but I still wanted to do it.
So, my oldest daughter and I trekked over to the local craft store and picked up some bits and pieces. Of course I have a ton of beading stuff from when the girls were younger so we grabbed that too.
Darling child was obsessed with the skulls, so there are a ton of skull stitch markers in many shapes, colors and styles.
Red one . . .
We made these four little angel stitch markers for Gramma because she loves Angels.
There are enough stitch markers for both me and Dena to participate in the swap. There are probably enough for there to be leftovers. I don't know how many people will do it, so I leaned toward having too many rather than too few. I will let you know what happens.

Much more fun than the yarn scraps I use as markers!
That looks like so much fun! I've attended Stitches Midwest for years, and I've never been aware of a stitch marker swap. I guess I should pay attention!
I love the ones that look like heads lol. The reds are my fav colour.
How did the swap go? Or have you done it yet? I love swaps, but I'm afraid stitch markers are not the swap I would do lol
