Puppy Kisses All Around!

This is our Casey - we love her more than any of us ever imagined.  She's going to turn seven on the 29th of October.  It's hard to believe we've had her that long, it seems like just yesterday she was a tiny puppy.

 

She was so cute when she was a baby.  She was about 15 weeks old when we got her in February of 2006.  

Last night we had a Puppy Party with a few Puppy guests.

The object of the Puppy Party was for us, including Casey, to decide which of these two little darlings should come live with us.  For over an hour, it looked like nobody was going to be able to make that decision - they are both completely adorable.  It is kind of like trying to pick between your children . . . decidedly not an easy task.

That other girl loved Novak,

 Girl Far From Home loved Amare, 

 but she also loved Novak,

a lot.

Casey loved Novak.

 As usual, I was in charge of the camera so there are few photos of me, but Girl Far From Home got a couple.  I was definitely not going to miss out on the puppy action!

Novak on the left, Amare on the right.  That is the breeder holding Novak.  She is the same woman that gave us Casey.  Novak has the same dad as Casey but a different mom, making her a half sister.  Amare is Casey's dad's great granddaughter, so they are related as well but not as closely.

Casey said either one was good with her!  That Other Girl wanted both.  How to choose?  Who to choose? 

Way too tough to choose! 

 They are both toe kissers.  Those are Dad's feet, so you can get an idea of the size of these little ones.

Amare rarely sat still long enough for anyone to get a good shot of her, but That Other Girl took a bunch of photos and got these two.  She's adorable, but quite the little explorer.

This is the only pic of Novak on the floor, not because she moved that much but because she's a cuddle-pup and everyone wanted to hold her.
