Starting to Knit

I got 8 skeins of Queensland Collection Cotolino 60% cotton/40% linen because there was no linen yarn in my local shop. I got two in a sage green, two in a lime green, two in a red and two lavendar. The yardage is not the same as the Louet that the pattern calls for, but I'm reasonably sure that I can get one cloth out of each skein. I'm going to cast on the first washcloth with the sage green during carpool.

We are jealous. We have the pattern but our yarn isn't here yet. Mom says we have projects to finish but it would have been nice to start something we aren't bored with. My husband says we have way too many things started to start a new project. But what does he know.

Well then I won't start until you guys can start. I still have several things going anyway. I need to get this baby blanket done and given to the new parents - it's very close thanks to the car dealership today.

When is Mom going to post something?

Mom says she will post "when hell does its trick"

Well I assume she's at least reading what we post . . . . and I guess that's enough. You can post for her if she doesn't wanna.

Our yarn came this afternoon and mom has cast on for the feather and fan in burgundy.
