I need a second opinion

I'm trying to start the moss stitch washcloth (the last one) and I cannot get it to do what it's supposed to do. I'm sure there is an error in the pattern because surely I couldn't keep making the same mistake over and over. Someone try it and see if they can figure it out, please?

Looking quickly it looks okay. Are you taking into account that it is moss stitch interspersed with a rib/stockinette stitch.

If you look at the chart you will see that there are 6 columns of one pattern and 7 of the next alternating. Since I am a visual person I charted it out. The columns are similar but not identical seed stitch, almost like a single and a double. Goodest luck

Yes, I was, but I was only coming up with ribbing on almost all rows. The third row of the pattern made seed stitch in some of the strips, but the first two made lots of rib . . . .

I knew I could just DO it right - but I was irritated that the pattern didn't work for me and the website didn't say there was an error in the pattern.

I gave up and started the other one. I'll look at that one again when I don't have children misbehaving.
