Teresa's Baking

Not only did Teresa cook fresh, from scratch Mushroom Soup while she was out here visiting, she baked a rhubarb pie.  Both of these items she shared with Mom and me.  But not with my hubby.

She had planned on making Mom some gluten free chocolate chip cookies while she was here but it seemed as tho she had run out of time.

But no, the darling daughter got up at some outrageous hour in the morning to make cookies.  Let's think this through - her plane left at 8:30 in the morning, so she needed to be at the airport by 7:30.  The airport is an hour from here so we had to leave by 6:30.  It takes a good hour to make cookies and get ready to go so she must have gotten up before dawn even thought about cracking.  I don't know because I slept in until 5:30.

But here are pictures of: cookies on the sheet before cooking, after cooking, after cooling and on the plate.  Mom wasn't up when we left so Teresa left the cookies with me to take over to Mom later.

What an awesome daughter Teresa is.
