I started the Hemlock Ring Blanket out of the soft and lovely alpaca I bought at SAFF. It's very lovely, but significantly smaller than the one Jarrod knit. I have 1200 yards of the yarn tho, so it should be a nice size when done anyway. I really love working with this yarn - soft and warm on your hands - but don't make mistakes because it fuzzes if you have to unknit it over and over and over.

Ripped that sucker completely out - back to two balls of pretty brown yarn. Am reknitting the blanket double stranded . . . . . hope it's big enough. It certainly feels very nice . . . .
