I wish I could knit as fast as I can find projects to knit.
I wanted to get the elves knitted, the ornaments knitted, all my started projects finished and all my stash yarn knitted into stuff plus some Christmas gifts made before the end of the year.
It isn't going to happen.

Yes, me too. I started to end the Hemlock ring so I could go on to the next thing. First I had knit too far and knew I didn't have enough yarn. So I unknit a couple of rows. Then I got the finishing edging done about 3/4 of the way around and didn't have enough to finish. Then I unknit that (tedious) and another row or two (again tedious because a row is about 500 stitches at this point). Then I decided that it isn't big enough - needs to be a bigger afghan.
Now what am I going to do about that? I don't have enough yarn to knit the edging, let alone make it bigger and then knit the edging.
So I called Bovidae Farms today and asked them to please send me another 650 yard hank so I could make it bigger. (Shoulda asked for two.) The yarn is on the way and will be here in a couple of days . . . . . I love this yarn, so I will love the blanket too.
And I called Philosopher's Wool too. They will send me whatever colorway my little heart desires on the sweater kit I want to buy. Now I have to decide if that's what I want or if I want to make my own Norwegian pattern. I think I want to do one of each . . . . and if I sell the children I just might have time in the next 5 years to finish both . . . .
