The Beach House . . .

The outside . . . across the street and 2 tenths of a mile to the ocean . . .

 Front entry inside . . .

From the dining room, looking at the living room . . .

From the front door, looking through the living room and out onto the back patio . . .

From the back of the living room, looking to the front door . . .

Behind the tv is the kitchen, dining room on the right, stairs to bedrooms on left and front door farther left . . .

Dining room . . .

 Small but workable kitchen . . .

Behind the kitchen, a laundry room that opens to a closed in patio (where trash and a/c unit live). . .

Heading upstairs . . . center hall with bedrooms off on all sides . . .

The green bedroom - one king or two twin beds.  Each bedroom has a separate bathroom and there is a powder room downstairs.

The blue bedroom - two twin beds.

The orange bedroom - this has a king bed and would be considered the Master . . .

It has the largest bathroom with two sinks, a huge bank of closets and a separate linen closet.

And it has it's own balcony overlooking the back yard and golf course.

The back patio and yard . . . we do get a view of a nice sunset over the golf course and a small lake.

And, of course there is lots of sand and ocean . . .

And sunsets over the marsh on the other side of the resort . . .

A Little Color

Dena came to visit and we drove to Nashville for Stitches South.  We had a blast.  Stitches was fun, Dena was fun, seeing our friends (Anna & Merike) was fun.  The last class we took was Microwave Rainbow Dyeing with Merike and these yarns were just a part of the result.

I dyed the charcoal/gray at Stitches and then we dyed the beige/brown here for Dena.  I am going to knit the charcoal/gray as a pair of textural socks and then embroider with the really colorful small skeins.

Dena has a full skein of the beige/brown and several skeins of colorful too!
